IF he was out thinking the rest of them, he wouldn't be the only one in the hole. Dave better spend his lunchbreak figuring out how to get out of the hole, rather than being proud of the fact he's the only one in it.

I've done jobs like that, and it's not sustainable physically. Working the most physically demanding job for the least money isn't a good decision.

I also retired at 40 years old. Soon the peanut gallery will be working for him. Getting your hands dirty, hard work and perseverance will pay off in the end.

Happened to me. Who am I to tell them they shot themselves in the foot....... They'll figure it out when I'm gone........As I've aged, I have no patience for someone like that.....

Yes, because it's so much harder to find a Marketing Manager, a PR Manager, or an HR Manager that a guy who knows how to fix the problem that's down in the hole.
