Below is the sign up link on Practice Score for the 2 Day Limited Power Variable Optic (LPVO) training course. The course is October 8-9 with Jeff Gurwitch from Modern Tactical Shooting. It will take place at GA Firing Line’s Rifle Ranch off of highway 20 in AL just outside of GA.

Jeff Gurwitch is a real deal Green Beret with 26 years in the Military, 19 years in SOF as an 18D, 9 combat deployments and the Primary Marksmanship Instructor to Special Forces (SFARTAETC).

Probably would have been helpful to mention the cost is $335. Included in the $335 is the $50 range fee for Rifle Ranch. Scott/GA Firing Line has a great outdoor range if you haven’t been out there yet!

This LPVO course is not listed on Jeff’s MTS website. It was offered based off of the interest expressed by participants at the last 2 Day Pistol/Rifle MTS class at the Rifle Ranch. Small class size and lots of fun!

The course is run as a hot range with pistol and rifle transitions. Targets are from CQB distance out to 550+ yards. Shooting positions vary and include vehicles. Should be a good time had by all!

600 rounds of rifle ammo. It will be rifle only “planning to shoot as much long range as possible” - per Jeff.

Need a night vision carbine course

Jeff said he was called back for a full-time position as an instructor for terrorism/counter terrorism with an agency. He said when he gets settled in he will schedule a follow on class for us. I’ll keep everyone posted.
