Got one of these and it is only good when you wear gloves. Otherwise you get pinched and palm squishes when you use it.

I bought about 30 of the old gerbers on clearance for $8 at wally world years ago
I prefer these. Not always needle nose but this generation. I have about 4 of them in various places. I do have one or two of the Gerber Suspensions but prefer the earlier model.

This thing is a solid little < 3" long wonder. When I first saw it in the pawn shop my first thought was "JUNK!". But I'm prone to playing with things like this so I picked it up. It's solid as a rock! There is ZERO wobble in the pliers, the grips are smooth and have rubber inserts so it's both comfortable and grippy and the jaws are spring loaded so it opens freely, letting you concentrate on what you need to do, not on fiddling with it. The little LED was not working when I got it but I went on eBay and ordered 50 or so batteries for 3 bucks and now it will hurt your eyes to look at. When I spotted it, it's big brother was there as well and I got the pair for less than 15 bucks. Little bit rides in my pocket and big bro is in my range bag. Only drawback was having to blow another 3 bucks on 50 more batteries for the big one since it took a different size battery. LOL.
