I've tried all types of 22s. Ammo does make a difference. Fortunately the expensive stuff wasn't the most accurate. At least that's what worked for meWe still have a brick of $4.94 thunderbolts down at the property. Only 22lr I have bought for several years have been for my precision B14r and they don't make Eley Edge anymore.
I haven't bought a razor since 2001 when I used to be able to get damaged boxes of them from the 3PL I worked at. I priced them the other day and thought I might just have to have a white beard.I learned to keep a stock of anything I might want or need since 2008. Other things before that were buy when on sale. When I bought my 94 Ford, I had enough oil in stock. Went almost 100k mi. before I needed to buy any

You ain't kiddin. I kept a razor in my go bag for the days I left the house and forgot to shave. It got outlandish even for the portables. When needed, I always bought at Walmart. And they were still expensive. You can still get the old-school twin blade safety razors - and blades - at reasonable prices. The modern blister pack monstrosities are ridiculously priced.

I don't remember the price at this point. Been several years now. Seems like the disposable ones were $1 or less a piece at some point in the past. Then the last I knew where crazy expensive. The old ones lasted longer too. I couldn't get but a couple shaves out of a disposable one at last. Seems as though the older ones lasted much longer. I've used an electric razor most of my lifeAmazon.com
