We still have a brick of $4.94 thunderbolts down at the property. Only 22lr I have bought for several years have been for my precision B14r and they don't make Eley Edge anymore.

I've tried all types of 22s. Ammo does make a difference. Fortunately the expensive stuff wasn't the most accurate. At least that's what worked for me

You ain't kiddin. I kept a razor in my go bag for the days I left the house and forgot to shave. It got outlandish even for the portables. Now days you either use an electric razor or forget it

You can still get the old-school twin blade safety razors - and blades - at reasonable prices. The modern blister pack monstrosities are ridiculously priced.

I don't remember the price at this point. Been several years now. Seems like the disposable ones were $1 or less a piece at some point in the past. Then the last I knew where crazy expensive. The old ones lasted longer too. I couldn't get but a couple shaves out of a disposable one at last. Seems as though the older ones lasted much longer. I've used an electric razor most of my life
