went this morning... only saw squirrels and a few ducks and 2 beavers in the swamp near the stand...
Congrats to the fella.
Planning on going down for an evening hunt today. We kept the little grandsons an extra night, so this morning was not going to happen. Weather shows it will be a nice day for a hunt on the property.
I heard one smoke pole go off this morning around 8:30am as I stepped outside with a cup of coffee on my day off.
Didn't see anything; but heard several deer. One splashed the creek, and another was back behind me banging stuff around. Quiet day at the cooler as they had only gotten a couple of does in today. I'm planning on heading back down Wed morning and hunting in the white oaks where I smacked a couple on doe day.
I've been at it everyday and I hear Deer when I'm going to the stand and see them going back to the house
