My 1st and last ND Very nasty pics. I get to go back to work

Just out of curiosity to those of you who have been through this. How long was recovery any tips or warnings you have would be great

As I said, my injuries were not the same, but from my experience and contact with others hurt in various ways, after the stitches come out, the physical therapist is God. It's dull, it hurts, but you have to work it to improve it. I remember the sweat I worked up traveling an astonishing 40 feet on a walker after they were sure the screws holding my pelvis together were snug.

Ill grit my teeth and suck it up. I need this hand to at least be able to lift my son and rack the slide on a 1911. If I can do that I'll be a happy man

I didn't lose a 'digit' in my accident, so I never got the phantom feeling. I just apparently forever lost feeling in my left foot and a couple toes on the right. But don't expect to get right back to normal anytime soon. Pain (I'm sure very intense at times, and sometimes for no reason), swelling, numbness, tingling in places it never happened before! If they didn't do any microsurgery to repair nerves and muscles, you will probably go around with a hand feeling like you're wearing a glove. I'm not medically trained . . . just passing on info that I have experienced the last year or so. Good luck and be patient.

Alright so the doctor says a few months of physical therapy two times a week for a month or two and I will be good to go
