My 1st and last ND Very nasty pics. I get to go back to work

Glad your doing good! but on a lighter note you remind me of the three toed sloth!! lol :) I pray you didn't lose your sense of humor with your finger!! Best wishes!

Hang 9 . It's all good brother. I have somewhat of a twisted sense of humor lol. I'm permanently predisposed to giving the shocker to my old lady. Now the question that has yet to be answered is will she like it. I'm going to have to say probably not

Ok this is going to sound odd but. I have discovered I don't have the flexible skin on the knuckle of my ring finger. When they stitched me up that skin was moved. If I had that where it's supposed to be I'd have full range of motion in my hand. Now I'm just waiting for the swelling to subside and the skin to heal. It still has some dull pain to it. I am working it as much as I can with out putting my self in horrible pain. I learned the first week that you gotta take it to a point and stop. I worked it to hard one time and was in some serious pain. Thanks for all the support guys.

That "flexible" part will develop. There are a few creams you can use to help that process out. Make sure you mention it to your PT.

Thanks for the info. I'll make sure to bring it up on Tuesday. I have yet to see a physical therapist yet. Life keeps getting in the way. I have made alot of progress on my own but I'm sure I will be better served going to pt.

Oh yeah almost forgot. Dad when we come down the weekend of the 5th we need to go to the range.

Yep. No more shooting in the house............
Seriously, take that PT seriously. It sounds like you have been working on it, but what you do now will determine what you can do with that hand the rest of your life.

I'm actually looking forward to the pt. I want to have as much use of my hand as possible. I know enough to be dangerous but these people will be a god send. I will be doing as much as possible even if it hurts. Thankfully I have a ridiculously high pain tolerance.

Well I went shooting for the first time since the accident. I must say it was good to shoot again. I went out and put 250 rounds through the trp. Good God I love that pistol. Dead nuts accurate and not one problem of any kind. I fed it jhp FMJ brass and steel case. It ate it all. She shoots beautifully. Before I shot it I was told it had 200 rounds through it. After shooting the 250 today she's smooth as silk too. I am truly thrilled to be on the road to recovery. My hand is getting stronger and better every day. I can't do alot of things still but I've made a ton of progress. I even cut the grass in my front yard with my weed eater.
