my first 1911

I got my first 1911 today i figured id get one with the highly priced idiot scratch since i would be bound to **** it up on my first field strip. I took it home field striped, assembled and honestly i cant for the life of me understand why folks would scratch them doing this? I guess at least I'm lucky to get one scratched as i would really have to try hard to do it myself.

I had the same experience with assembling my firs AR lower recently you have to be really careless to scratch while installing the mag catch.

anyway here is my 1911 with the ever so faint idiot mark, and even with it she is the prettiest girl on the ODT cause shes mine
