Maybe he knows he can't pay you and just hopes you'll be kind and forgive the debt publically. If you're not out any money, tell him in front of other people that he don't owe you anything, then see what happens. Don't talk about him to other people cause that only makes you smaller. I would bet that in due time he'll try to repay you. Sometimes it helps to treat a stranger like you would your best friend.

If you have money in it, I'd ask for it. If you don't have actual money in it, I'd ask him why he was your buddy when he was in need and no treating you like he is.
If he continued to be a butt, then do whatever you feel is ncessary. I AM a Christian and honestly feel bad for people like you are describing, they are pathetic.

i appreciate +yalls+ advice. there are alot of
really good people on this site...not to sound
like a dork or a guy thats drank 12 beers but
there was an agreement/deal/barter made
between two able-bodied males. he had
an over-heating chevy and a welder that
he bought but never used and doesnt know
jack scrap about trucks. so there you have it.
@ the very least,just 'cause im no saint,my
last day (untill im back again) i will tell him
a whole bunch of expletives about his actions
family members,mom,wife,dad,where to shove it,
etc.,etc.,etc.,
*its gonna be good and im looking forward to it.
