My son shot his first deer!

That rifle gutting is one I've only gotten once. It was uphill and hard quartering looking back at me. Bullet hit low on a quick offhand shot and zipped her open from mid stomach across up and buried itself in the opposite shoulder. Just cut it all out and threw her over my shoulder. Not as appealing as it looks. Blood running all over me carrying her out. Great job on his first deer. I remember mine and cannot wait until I have a son and get to take him hunting.

Holy smokes.
When I saw the pic of that little deer and read that he used the 22-250 I was thinking it would obliterate that little thing then I scrolled down and saw the carnage pic and It was exactly how I pictured it would look.

I bet it damn near blew him out of the tree making the shot too. LOl.
