We got settled into our tower stand at 3:00 this afternoon, hoping that my Wife would get a chance at her first deer ever. Work has kept her out of the woods all season, so this was her first sit of the year. There were tracks all over the food plot. so I figured we’d see something before dark. Just before 5:00, two does ran into the food plot and right on their heels was a buck. My Wife got turned, settled the crosshairs on the buck and dropped him in his tracks with her 7mm08.
I’m so proud of her for keeping her cool and making a great shot on the deer! God has definitely blessed my family this season.
