My wife harvested a real nice 8 pointer this week.
Unfortunately, her choice of weapon was her brand new Chevrolet Tahoe.......
Luckily, she was only traveling around 20MPH and it hit the deer in the right rear leg. It was broken in half, and still alive when the Sheriffs Deputy arrived.
He dispatched the deer, and we let a local fellow have the deer. The deputy told my wife that she had probably just "pissed off" a bunch of local hunters!!!
He was 8 good points, and the deputy said probably well over 250 pounds. It was a big one.
He was sure some folks have been watching this guy for months and had plans for it.
Not much damage since she was driving so slow, so hopefully the Tahoe will be back in shape in a week or two.
Sorry to the local Coweta Hunters, she got him before you could.....
