The only time I have ever seen a marking like that, it was on a couple Elite/Bear Creek upper. And it was a complete POS.

Regarless of the marking it appears to be a quality part. All the edges are sharp and clean and the coating looks spot on. It almost looks like a billet part by the way the forward assist mount looks squared off . Either way it looks like a good part.

A lot of members think that the forging mark on the right side of the upper is who made the upper. That mark is just the mark of the forger of the blank. It doesn't necessarily that's the company that performed the finishisng work on the forged blank. I am stumped on this one. I have looked for an hour trying to find the company that uses that blank and I have come up with nothing. However like I siad before without handling it, it appears to be of good quality just by the look of the lines and the finish.
