Nazi marked items?

Nazi memorabilia is one thing, but I might have an issue if you've got a Nazi shrine in your den.

Having said that, I sure wouldn't mind having a Luger P08 and/or a Walther P38.. With or without markings.
 
Yeah. No problem with owning Nazi marked items or firearms here. Historically significant stuff in a very big way. In no way am I a Nazi sympathizer or any of that gay ****. No reasonable person who spent five minutes around me could believe that I advocate any of the Nazi ideology. Do I get goose bumps being around historic Nazi marked items? Kind of, but that's part of what makes them important. The primary aggressor in mankind's deadliest conflict was defeated, thank God (and the 400,000+ American's that died to make it happen) and that's something that is always relevant. Not just now, not just when I'm planted in the ground. FFFFF-OOOOOO-RRRRRRR-EEEEEE-VVVVVVV-EEEE-RRRRRRR.

I have no problem with people owning the memorbilia from Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam, to the present and any and all wars that I did not mention. However, I will not own any war treasures from any of the wars. I do not put a value on it because it is just not something I like. The only items that I own that could be considered war memrobilia, are letters that my two uncles sent while in WWII. But I value those because they are family treasures, not war memrobilia. Just my take.
 
I had some I used when I taught U.S. History. I would bring them in to let the kids see them. German, American, British, Japanese, French..Uniforms, flags, maps, medals, C-rations(they could not get over the fact they came with cigarettes).

Sweet. They came with smokes? Did not know that. Were they lucky strikes?
 
The thing to me about nazi marked items is that the nazi regime was especially devoted to evil. The mark of the nazi party itsself has become a mark of evil. I'm not interested in owning them. I leave it to collectors and museums. Evil flourishes today and I'm not likely to forget just because I don't hold it in my hands. I can see it on most news channels.
