Nazi marked items?

So you guys are saying that if a WW2 P.08 Luger with the correct markings showed up on the S&S boards for $1 you would pass it up? I call BS on that...

I had a sweet P38 once. It was made in 1964.

As for profiting by getting a great deal on one and selling it to you soulless, amoral gun hoarders(just joking) that's a whole other thing. ;)

Yes.

a) I have no desire to own that type of handgun to begin with
2) The Nazi proofs would make me uneasy although I do not deny it's historical value
III) I don't want to own anything that may have been used to take a life

I have discussed this many times with friends and God forbid I would ever have to use any of my weapons in a self defense scenario (excluding SHTF, end of the world type stuff) where another person was killed by my gun, after the investigation, red tape etc.. it would be sold and replaced with the same or something better.

Call me crazy, that is just how I feel.

nothing wrong with that. Heck God knows how many people some of the surplus weapons I have taxed. A friend and I were opening a mosin nagant package he bought. We pulled out the ammo pouch... ugh it had really old dried up blood on it. Did kinda make me woozy.

Geez guys. A gun is a tool. Would you replace a hammer because you buit a shelf with it? If I ever defended myself wiuth my gun I would like that gun even more for having done it's job. It is the stigma of having been made for evil purpose that bothers me about things bearing the nazi markings that bothers me.

And that 1964 had P38 stamped on it. Maybe someone couldn't count.

Kinda like this only mine had 9/64 on box and gun
