Need a Gunsmith for my Marlin 336

...that I have had since I was 14. 40 years. I took it apart several years ago and tried duracoating it. A DIY failure. I am missing a part or two and really need someone to maybe re blue it and put it back together properly. I know Hogleg is up here in Hall County, but had rather use someone else. I have used a guy in Lawrenceville several years back (Ft Daniel I think) but cant seem to find him. I really want to get my 1980 336 functional again.

Any suggestions in North Georgia? Thanks

If I still lived in Acworth I could help you out. A friend brought me one a old man gave him. It was his truckn gun. He ask to refurbish it. I stripped it down to bare steel reblued it and stoned some of the worn marks. The barrel was rusted quite a bit so it took some work. When it left here you could have put it back on the shelf and sold it as new.
Everything on the gun had rust the barrel, receiver, lever and took some time. The old boy I did it for was tickled pink.
What exactly is the problem? Not ejecting?

Oh hell it shouldn't take but twenty minutes to get it back going.
