Need a gunsmith

I need a gun smith with a “mossberg gunsmithing certification”.. I have a mossberg 935, the bolt slide assembly has a pretty major crack in it. The problem is I cannot find one anywhere on the internet new or used. Called mossberg and they told me it’s a “restricted item” and can only be sold to a certified mossberg gunsmith.

I can send it to them for repair the problem with that is they have a 8 week turn around time. I need the gun first of January for a duck hunting trip in Arkansas.

So if anyone can help me by getting the part or I’d even be willing to buy a beat up 935 for parts..

Send it to mossberg and buy or borrow another that way the issue is on them undeniably and your covered.
Don’t take any chances put the monkey on there back because they could play the blame game.

the 835 slide assembly won’t work for the 935 unfortunately

The bolt is a big problem in these guns. I’ve had several brought to me with bolts messed up and sent them back to Mossburg and they fixed them and shipped back.

I’d hate to have to buy another one and unfortunately I don’t have enough time to send it to mossberg. don’t mind paying the 39-79 dollars for the slide assembly.

Check Deer Creek Guns in Kennesaw , they’re right next to the old Wildman’s . Took part of his building . Bought a charging handle for an old 30.06 that I’m telling you NOBODY had ! He had a brand new one .
