Need Auto AC help for 2001 GMC Sahara

Hopefully you added one that has the oil mixed in with the Freon ….. not a real big deal if it didn’t but will be good if it did.
OK, I did a little more research rather than being afraid to overcharge it. I just held the can there and continue to shake it not even looking at the gauge and it took the whole can now it’s blowing cold time. Will tell if it’s leaking down. thanks for all the heads up

My 06 expedition needs a can about every four months

We just keep the hose and a can in the car

I have my son check it about once a year with his fancy gauges to make sure the charge is close to
Correct

OK, here’s the deal. This is my father-in-law‘s truck. It has been sitting for the last 12 to 15 years. He did start it from time to time but we went and moved it out of storage and everything seems to be up to par except for the AC.!
The charge is showing fully charged all the fuses that I checked are good it clicks in like the clutch is trying to engage, but then it clicks right back up as if it was low on free. Any suggestions out there? Oh great Odt world I know carry it to a professional

Check the cabin filter. Could be full from mouse making it's home there.
