A family member let a co worker borrow a 72 308 mohawk. It was still in brand new condition and only fired about 30 times. The family member left the job soon after. The co worker was borrowing it to go hunting over the next two or three weekends, called and emailed him asking for it back. It's been a year now. Finally got ahold of him at his work and he claims I thought you gave it to me to keep not borrow and I sold it right after you gave it to me. Now this gun is very sentimental to my grandfather also. It was the first gun he ever bought and my grandma helped pay for it and pick it out when got it. Now the guy feels bad and says he will pay to replace it or find a new one. Which that is hard since they haven't been made since the mid 70's. What do they sell for now. I saw a nib old one for 1600 and a few used for 700-1k online but idk?
