Need help with stripped screw head

In the past I've taken the next size up torx bit and tapped into an allen head that was stripped. If you bottom it out and go slow and steady they come out.

It’s smaller than a T4, that’s the smallest Torx I have and it’s too big. It’s a 1/16th Allen head.

This. Use a dremel and make it a slotted screw....

This was the way! I got it! Going to call River Monday to see if they will send a new screw and right side safety lever.

I may even run down to ace hardware to see if they have the screw

Not sure if they all do, but Ace in Conyers actually had a caddy marked gun screws when i worked in that area a few years ago.

The Ace near me does as well. I’ll call ruger to get the screw specs or see if they will send me one. With a little sharpie and grips installed you can barely tell it.

I forgot mine was slotted until you started this thread! 🤣 I’m about 2 days away from forgetting again.
