Need legal help for my son

personal injury claims have a two-year statute of limitation, but property damage would be 4 years.

But according to the OP in the very first post, this lawsuit involves no damage just personal injury???

your old insurance company should provide legal defense for your son.

Unfortunately, the time limit MAY have been extended by COVID, I don't know this, but with all the batcrap crazy sheet that was changed due to the Fauci Flu, who knows???

My son is a poor Paramedic and doesn't have a nickels in his pocket. 5 years ago he had a minor incident where he bumped another car. There was no damage to either car, and an accident report was issued.
The other driver has sued him for $14000 for "pain and suffering in a NO DAMAGE accident.
What course of action do we need to follow? Obviously he needs a lawyer, but has no money to secure one. We need to try and get the accident report (if it still exists). He had video of the impact point, but we can't find that video.
If anyone out there can help this poor first responder, his entire family will be grateful.

Thanks in advance.
First things firsts. Have him get ahold of the accident report, it will be on file with whatever agency did it. Probably have to do it in person, unless you want a redacted copy.
