Need some help from South Ga folks

I cant think of a suitable venue here in Americus. South Ga Tech, here in Americus host the NRA banquet here but I dont know how open they would be to meet. Plains has a community center but dont think it would be big enough.

I would think Albany. Of course Albany is Albany but any town big enough to have a building to host an event is going to be big enough to have crime issues.

I think anything South of Macon (yes its middle Ga) would be a great draw for those who live South of Atlanta. Of course if you go further South you draw from areas that may not be able to travel up to events. For a centralized meet not South Macon is a bet. On an unrelated precoffee ramble I think GHSA should use Macon or Columbus instead of always somewhere north of Atlanta or Savannah.

Nobody knows where South Georgia is anyway. Nobody on the ODT knows what part of the state they line in anyway. Just hold the show in Argyle, GA.

Well since the Man himself mentioned the Perry Fairgrounds in the original post I just assumed that was south enough for him and those of y'all above Atlanta.

The Shrine Park is a decent location if you overlook having to drive briefly through Bloomfield to get to it.

Well, I believe that to Okuma Macon is "to the south".
Maybe a "significantly-south-of-the-ATL" M&G?
