Need some info on deciding first handgun purchase

I may be chiming in a little late but I cant believe no one has suggested the G23. In my opinion the best carry piece there is. Just something about a .40 cal 180gr bullet that I like. The pistol is the same size but the bullet is bigger than the 9 but still very accurate and controllable. If you liked the 19 you owe it to yourself to go shoot the 23. As a plus when all the shelves are barren of 9MM there is usually a pretty good supply of .40 on the shelves.

So I know you guys are probably getting tired of me posting about this but I know I said I would buy both handguns off of ODT an with all intentions I meant to but then the las couple days I've been seeing USED glock 19 gen 4 goin for $600 or more and I checked at a local gun dealer and they have both brand new with the 3 mags box and papers for $529 a piece. I was hoping to help keep the ODT economy alive but gotta go with the better deal here.
