Had the same problem but the neighbor showed up as well. He was a bit unreasonable and did not share my thoughts on the second amendment period. Unfortunately for him the LEO's didnt agree with him and I was being safe. I did stop for the day but did inform him that I used good judgement in when and where I shoot..
I had the same kind of thing happen to me except I know who called on me. My neighbor is the county attorney. But I work nightshift and my driveway is 20-30 yards from his bedroom window. So, when I can't sleep I just might be hunting wabbits or something... really cuts down on those pesky complaints.... haven't heard jack in 2 years
Lol my neighbors did that to me too a while back. The 500 got their dog all hot and barking. The guy I had was cool looked at the bank I was shooting at. Chatted a bit then asked to hold the 500 cause he's heard of them but hasn't seen one. I couldn't con him into shooting it, he seen the bullet size and basically said f that. He take a .40 shell out of his spare mag and had to take a picture holding both. To show a few fellows. We talked about the mosin type 53 I had sitting on the table. Pretty cool guy.
Glad it worked out good for you Dakota- I might have grabbed a .308 and let some really noisy rounds fly after that kind of call.
