Never hunted before......few questions?

So I've never actually been hunting before. I've got a nephew and he's a great kid(17 yrs old). He's moving away next year and he's been begging me to go hunting with him(deer).

He says I do not need a permit or anything like that, we will just take one rifle and if we run into a Game Warden he will say he was the one doing the shooting. Dumbass kid......

What's the actual law?

You need the 3 day hunting apprentice license. It does not require you to have taken the hunter's safety course.

I would suggest going to gohuntgeorgia.com and read the regulations. Game wardens don't care what the odt crew thinks about it. IMHA.
