Gunsmith! Work at your own pace and it's easy to learn once you get passed the initial fear of the unknown.I’m not sure if it’s a mid-life crisis or if I’ve lost my passion for my work but I’m looking for a new job. I’d consider a whole new career. Too old for the Army, too many knee surgeries for back breaking construction work.
Spent 15 years managing upscale restaurants and the past decade doing wine/spirits sales. I have lots of experience managing teams, leading people, and am very comfortable in public speaking. I’m not really in a position to go back to grad school, though a cert would be doable.
I actually really enjoy the sales aspect and wouldn’t mind continuing in a different product field, but would like to travel a bit and would like to get into more of a niche industry. Travel throughout GA, AL, SC, NC - in the SE region would be fine. I do not enjoy cold calling and knocking on doors.
Considering just about any field at this point. So, anyone have advice?
