New Glock V series introduction

Below is a link to the Glock collector association update today on the new Glock V series.

The big change is it can't be modified to fully auto. All other Glock models will be discontinued.

Well, at least this article acknowledged it's just a rumor.

Interesting on how they did it. Kind of reminds me on how IBM created the PS2 to get back control over the PC-compatible market. It totally failed and everyone basically ignored them.

In this case suddenly lots of the 3rd party parts won't be compatible with new Glock V's going forwards. Yet PSA, Ruger and a host of others will still make 'real' Glocks they will all work in, including 3D printed switches.

Also, you have to wonder how Customs is still letting in Chinese switches into the US. I mean if China started trying to ship Lightning Links in you can bet they would be caught at the border, but Glock switches? Nope, those are just for airsoft guns.

I give it 10 min after the first ones bought for FOSSCAD to have a new switch for $10 in parts lol
