why not run a hi-point then... budget friendly, and it's sounds like what ever you are guarding may not be worth a lot... since they aren't providing the weapon!

Mall cop, mall manager all this **** just proves immaturity is still a thing here huh. And for the record I don't work at a mall... That would be a lot easier and frankly I think I might enjoy that. I work with local pd when they contract is out for large events etc. and who gives a damn if I was a mall cop? Would you rather see someone flipping burgers at McDonald's or getting career experience doing what I'm doing. Point is, don't be a dick. I understand the difference and am not trying to portray myself as anything I'm not.
i thought only if you are actively impersonating an officer with the intention of policing someone else or attempting to enforce a law

This is correct. however, up around where I live and work and the duties I perform and training I've received I think a simple title like law enforcement describes my job to a tee. Now if I came out and said I was a police officer or sheriff officer that would be punishable under the statue that I posted above.
