New problem with this 2012 Yukon XL 1500 Denali 6.2L. I really hate this truck! GREMLIN is back

He put that part on that makes it a full time V8. That seemed to make the biggest difference. Hopefully it'll straighten up and run right now. They've driven several miles and right as rain so far
I believe it's like the start/ stop bypass that plugs into the OBDll port and stops it. I'm not sure if it plugs into the OBDll Port but I know what you're talking about. You can also do it with the HP tuners. You can go in there and disable the function as well. Either way it took care of the problem so that's a win-win.

Lets hope so. I wouldn't have any hair left if that vehicle was mine. I will not own anything like that. Newest vehicle I have is an 05 diesel and 02 gas. Really still too new knowing what I know now. If I had to replace anything, it would be older than what I have

I hate when you get a problem like that and it just drains you mentally. Unfortunately these newer autos with all the electrical systems are just a match over gas waiting to spring a leak. It's going to happen the question is when. So far I have been fairly lucky and been able to fix what it threw at me but that's not always the case for some people..I feel for them, I really do!

I know more than the average person, but I'm not a mechanic. It's more all the money he spent trying to find the problem. But if it's fixed, it's far less than I paid to fix my older Ford. It was always right as rain till a rodent chewed some wires

Those damn rats can wreak havoc on electric system. It's hard enough to work on the electrics itself without having to track down every wire and make sure it's not chewed or shorting out somewhere. That's a freaking nightmare!

Yep. I think it was chipmunks. Wound putting a new computer in it. I spent @ $4k. Still have a check engine light. Dealer finally told me to just drive it. That's been several years now. The light is intermittent. I had to advance the timing and raise the idle to keep it from stalling, 94 F250 with a 460 EFI. Used to idle at @ 600rpms, now @ 850

Huh! Did you check for a Vacuum leak with carb cleaner around all the areas that tend to take in unmetered air? Sometimes they can leak and go undetected. That would warrant a slight throttle increase to keep it from stumbling. Sometimes things can go wrong that have nothing to do with the obvious damage but pop up coincidentally.
