Got the Deerstalker 44 Mag dressed up in camo and took her out for a stroll this afternoon. Got her dialed in and ready for Ossabaw Island. She really likes 240gr Speer Gold Dots!

I wonder if these would fit since it’s a single shot...

My 44 is center-punching the bullseye at 25, 1.5" high at 50. Didn't have time to set up at 100 yards today.I killed a couple does with this load a couple of years back. Worked good.
Zeroed my .44mag pictured earlier with 240gr XTP Wednesday, 2in high at 50, hitting 2in low at 100. Ready to go! 15 days!
Yes, I have tried hard cast bullets in the 240 - 300 grain range. They work good okay, the jacketed bullets are more accurate in my S&W 629 with 8" barrel. I use the hard cast bullets in my 454 casull and 475 linebaugh.Did you ever try Hard Cast?
