Your grandfather sounds like a wise man. The Commie swamp up north is no picnic. The Woke virus has infected everyone. Your life is in perpetual servitude to the state. If you count all the Taxes (Fed, Provincial, property, sales tax, etc), basically 70% of your income goes to support the bums who don't want to work. At least here in the US, if you work hard and still value work, you can get a head. Sad thing is that things are changing here as well, but one thing is for sure; I won't be going back!
