Indeed. But where does Valero fit into the equation?

That seemed to be the question original. Valero stations are not directly affiliated with Citgo or Venezuela.

As always someone said it at church.The thought was Citgo was using the name change to hide the Chavez connection.Riddle me this .I live near the gas tanks in Doraville and the Citgo pumping facility fills up the QT tankers,so QT is in bed with Hugo?

I used to work at a QT and the tanker that filled up QT was the exact same one that filled up another "brand name" gas station down the street (I think it was a Chevron).

I don't know if I'd rather be dependent on Venezuelan or Iranian oil...it's kind of a lose-lose situation. Drill baby drill?

Most all of the transport companies fill their tankers at the same bulk fill facilities. The branding doesn't happen until the gasoline additives are mixed. Some companies mix their additives at the dispenser, some are mixed when the tanker fills at the bulk facility.
