Me thinks a 7 mm PRC would be a nice addition to the safe. The article said 5 shot groups inside 3/4 MOA. Not bad for a gun off the shelf. With one ammo hitting the 1/2 mark. Berry, berry interesting!

Just made my short list of elk rifles. They offer it in .280 Ackley Improved, which is one of the calibers on my list. Sub-MOA guarantee, 7.5lbs, and an MSRP of $1200. That is about half the cost I had allotted myself for this rifle. Comes with a TriggerTech Field trigger. Tool-less bolt...

No worries! That thread of mine is over a year old.
I've run that gun with hunting ammo out to 1,000yds with great success.
