I’m trying to get my hands on and shoot as many different pistols to find out what I like most and shoot best. Kept some, traded out of some.

What does the ODT suggest I try next? 9mm semi auto mainly, but open to .357 revolvers as well.

Thanks,

I’ve tried:

Glock 22 (really enjoyed it, but switched to 9mm)
Glock 19 (love it)
Glock 43 and Glock 42 (hated both)
Beretta 92FS (meh)
CZ p-09 (too big)
Springfield XD 9 (clunky) and XDs (kind of dug it but the grip sucks)
S&W Shield and M&P 2.0c (love them both)
FNS9 (love and shoot well) FNS9C (hated)
Sig P320 (really like it)
Walther PPS 2 LE (didn’t care for it at all)

Smith & Wesson model 686...whenever my buds shoot it they are like, "wow!"

Or a 586, which is the same gun in blue or nickel instead of stainless. Great guns and a lot of fun to shoot and the SA trigger is AMAZING!

And of course with a .357 revolver you can practice with .38 spcl and save money in the process.

Good luck in your pursuit of your next pistola.

I don't see any 1911-style SAO pistols in your list. Try one of them on for size!

Plus one for the 686/586 and will add that I own a couple of Dan Wesson 15-2's and anyone who shoots one can hit what they're aiming at.
Pistol pacs are pricey but if you find a solid one with a six or four inch barrel you can always grab a two inch barrel off Ebay if you need a short barreled revolver for some reason. They probably don't pocket carry very well, but I've never tried so I may be wrong.
