Where did you get the Van Winkle? I had 3 on order but they were stolen at the distillery before they were shipped to me and its so limited, they didn't have a single spare bottle this year.

It comes out around November every year. Most stores have a "list" that you have to be on to get some. Some of the bigger stores are allocated more than others but they mark theirs up crazy high so that they keep some year round. If you want a bottle after around December or January it is gonna cost you.

Oban 14 for the single-malt and Pigs Nose for a great (and cheaper) blended scotch. Throw in a good Padron cigar and you have the beginning of a good evening.

Ditto. Oban 14. Used to have some Pappy vanWinkle - wish I could find and afford another bottle.
