No love for the .40

I've always felt like the .40 was an answer to a problem that didn't exist. With equal shot placement given a 9mm and a .40 are negligible vis a vis soft tissue damage and theres not much in the way of weight difference to make up for the lack of ease in follow up shots. .45 or 9mm for me. Never liked the .40, never will.

Agreed. If I shoot somebody, it doesn't matter what u am shooting them with, 22 or 50 bmg, they are getting AT LEAST a double tap. With a 9 I can deliver a dt quickly, accurately, and effectively, most importantly safely. With a 40, I cannot.

Handgun ballestics suck. All if them. Since I can't carry an AR15 with me everywhere I go, I choose the sucky round that gives me the highest capacity, and lowest cost enabling me to practice more thus making myself more effective with said sucky round.

The lack of popularity for the much maligned .40 makes the guns more affordable and for $100 I can drop a .357sig barrel in my Glock 22.

Ok so I just ran up to the LGS around the corner to fondle the G19 and G23 some more. I'm torn. I definately like the Gen3 more than the Gen4...I'm not a fan of that huge mag release.
