No love for the Glock 36?

I liked my 36 much more than I did the gen 3 m30 I owned. It concealed better and I shot it better (I have average sized hands)....Finally got off that Koolaid tho and now I don't feel the need to buy and try every model of Glock........whew!

The slide of the Gen 4 Glock 30 will be the same size as the 36, somehow the grip of the 30 will remain the same. Don't shoot the messenger its what I was told by a Glock rep.

No surprise, as some people have been putting 36 slides on 30's for a while to shrink things down a little. I always found it odd that Glock continues to make 2 different slides/barrels when they could be just making one with different roll marks.

I wanted a 36 for about a year before I finally got one. I immediately disliked the feel of it. It felt like they accidently left a stock G30 frame laying on a belt sander. All they did was make it thinner but not proportionately shorter. It feels awkward to me. Besides, My Kahr PM45 not only feels better, it is lighter, thinner still and MUCH shorter with the same capacity. Until Glock listens to the customers and makes a line to compete with the PM line by Kahr, they need to stop pretending to have a true sub-compact. and this from a guy who LOVES his Glocks, all 6 of them.

Different strokes I guess. The 36 fits my hand like a glove whereas the 30 feels like I'm trying to take aim with a brick.
