Why the glock panic

Glocks are like old boots. Everybody should have some laying around. They've been reliable, inexpensive and low maintenance. There never was a reason to ever really part with one unless you needed the room or you can't shoot it halfway decent. I'm shocked if someone on here doesn't own at least a couple.

I don't have a Glock....Dad has a gen 2 very early very unused 19 with tupperware. I shot it once....it was ok..glock is really nothing to write home about....they are almost as good as about anything else on the market and shoot about the same....e.g. bullets always hit whats in front of them.....Dad has dementia now so we don't shoot much at all.....soon enough I'll sell it off....should be worth about $40Eleven in cash. It is interesting how many folks buy glocks then swap them around on forums like a $2 whore.....I suppose in the same vein, glocks must not be fully satisfying....

Be shocked... couldn't melt one down and pour it on me.
Tried to like Glocks, they just don't work for me.
Being a senile citizen, gotta stick with 1911 style guns.

Never did shoot it the best myself, but I still kept a couple over the years. No doubt they do run well.

Once I learned how to shoot my Glock well. I started shooting everything else even better. Mastering that staplegun trigger will pay dividends on nearly any other platform.
