You are correct but I guess I meant the entire process including communication even if they decided to go another route. It's not hard to return a pm. Just as common courtesy and all... I would even appreciate a "go **** yourself" at least.

The bad thing is, you can buy most items on ODT cheaper in stores than on ODT, or if it's a good deal you save 10 bucks. Sometimes it's not worth the hassle.

Here is my rant, if you post something for sale/trade and several private messages transpire between said interested parties and an agreement is satisfactory to both parties, don't stop responding and never answer back. This happened Sunday on a trade deal i wanted. He set terms, I agreed and then....nothing. I hope he doesn't live alone and dropped dead.

I've just learned to tell myself "some people suck". Learn that phrase and believe it. Don't hat everybody because they are different. Just understand some people suck. Makes life much easier.

Yessir . I believe it boils down to lack of respect, not being taught the importance of your word being your reputation is important, along with generally being an ass just about covers most of them, i think.

I know I have disagreements with plenty of folks on here, but some ones ability to be a man of their word is sacred to me. Keeping your word garners much respect and allows for respect and understanding.

I agree integrity is what it's all about....What I find annoying is a commitment then replies wife says no.Don't blame it on your wife cause your a loser.

All of the above is why I generally won’t proceed to a final agreement without speaking to the other party.
I can usually get a good read on the person in a few minutes of conversation.
I understand some folks just prefer all communication via pm...that is certainly their choice and I don’t have a problem with it.
But I generally don’t pursue those trades...unless it’s something I really want or a smokin deal.

I only bought a few things here and haven't sold anything, but the people I bought from were very cool and respectful.
We negotiate a price, they pick a location, I text them my preferred dates and times, we agree to all.
Then I text my ETA before I leave the house/work, and I text them again when I'm 5 minutes away.
I don't bring extra friends for backup.

Knock on wood, I hope I don't jinx my next trade.
