No spare..

I haven't driven a vehicle with a spare in years. Towing has become inexpensive and tires over 33" are to hard to deal with on the side of the road. I can pay for a lot of tows for that high dollar spare that is a pain to keep in rotation with radials

I still have the factory spare under my truck. Been meaning to take it off since I don't think the F250 OEM spare is going to work w/ the 37s that I have on the truck now...

2008 Miata doesn't come with a spare or run flat tires. You can get a spare; but then you can't use the trunk. My old pickup truck we leave the spare laying in the bed. Of course, NO ONE wants a 14" rim and tire. I think last set of 4 was under $300 out the door.

The guy at the tire shop of full of it. Even old cars have a differential that allows one side to spin faster than the other. It's how we can drive in circles without ripping out the gears. If the tire is the same size then it doesn't matter if one is a bit worn.

Take off the wheel and take it to a Wal Mart. Buy one tire and have it mounted on the wheel. End of story.

OR.....You could wait until the 18th of this month, buy a new mid-engine Corvette and send the wife to work on the bus.

If I did that I would need a lot of prayers. Lol

Discount tire’s tire replacement program is the best. Usually about $15-20 a tire. Well worth it. Just put tires on my wife’s focus last month, got a screw in the side wall Friday. $16 later I have a brand new tire.
