No spare..

I also drive a bmw. Most of the rft tires are garbage for the performance they offer. I run pilot sports or continentals. Sucks they don’t include a spare.

My truck has 2, one under the truck I cant access and one in the bed with a floor jack and a 4 way in the tool box.Oh yeah 4 way,a 4 way lug wrench you spin to remove lug nuts,Righty-tighty Lefty- loosey.

That’s why I have roadside service on my insurance about 10 $ month.my wife’s Accra has no spare either.she hit curve blowed out tire, called had them tow it to tire store.

hy 14 hyundai didnt come with one

**** that, went out and bought one anyway

also learned the hard way that a bottle jack and scissor jack wont fit under alot of them short bitch cars

Just get four new tires and then you will have 3 spares. Take the three spares and have the tread shaved off to varying degrees on each. Now go ahead and buy one more new tire so you will have a complete set of spares. It is not really that complicated.

My wife bought a 2010 BMW in January with 35k on the dial. Great car, drives beautifully. She hit something in the road and when she got home she noticed her tire was low. I went and looked and sure enough it was low, but when I looked closer it had a big hole in the side wall but the tire wasn't completely flat.

Went to the trunk to get the spare, nothing there. Pulled out the owners manual and learned that there is no spare with run flat tires or RFT tires. Went to the tire shop to get another tire and that's when reality set in.

Instead of buying one tire, the guy say's I need to buy two tires. If one tire is added the diameters will be different because of wear and throw the computer off that regulate the transmission and shifting and such.

I also learned that changes in barometric pressure will cause the low tire pressure light to display on the dash. Why can't they just put the spare back in? Dang!
Oh!, and RFT tires are not cheap.

When it comes time to change the battery, you'll have to pony up $500-600 minimum for a 120 lbs. battery located in a tight fitting trunk cubby, and your car will have to be re-programmed at the dealer to report the battery install. My folks have a 2007 328i with under 19K- neither drives anymore and the battery is long dead. It's an expensive albatross. They have run flats that require nitrogen to fill- another dealer issue unless you have access to a welders supply. On my dad's 1999 Beamer, a routine brake job was always over $800. They are mobile money pits unless you have deep pockets.

Problem is your folks are automobile gullible and believe the dealership instead of doing their own research. The type of folks BMW and high end car manufacturers love.

Nitrogen tires are a scam and not required, any tire that runs nitrogen can also run air.

A battery for that vehicle is <$200 per a 3 second Google search online.

No spare on my Mustang either, bent the rim and blew out the tire the other day. Dealer quoted over $2K for a new wheel and no idea when they can even get it. I wound up selling the entire set and buying another set of wheels and tires.

I'm going to have to make a ramp to carry in the trunk, my car is lowered so a jack isn't going to get under the front of the car. I still have to find a spare that will clear the front brake and a jack that will work.

My last 6 cars haven't come with a jack or a spare, but I've been able to work around it until this last time. Wife's brand new Explorer...Has a jack and a spare! YAY!
