I cross my thumbs when I shoot. It's how I was taught in the early 80s shooting revolvers. It works with autos too. I like the "lock" it provides when I shoot. I've been told for many years I shoot "wrong" by locking my thumbs. I guess I'll stay wrong.

Thats basically me too. Offhand supporting on the bottom. Thumbs tucked. I naturally came into that from rapid reloading mags. Other shooters (to include FED LEOs) have tried this technique after criticizing me for it, and have found they have better control of the pistol. Scores even went up on quals with it.
