It was imported by B-West, not built off of one of their U.S. recievers. I didn't know until just now that there was a difference, but I guess l got lucky there.

Yes, you dodged a bullet. As you probably discovered in your research, US receivered B-West rifles are notorious for improper or lack of heat treating. What you end up with are oversized hammer and trigger pin holes after very few rounds, which is no bueno.

Oh, I think so. Golden State spikers are special because they were used in Platoon, Hamburger Hill, The Iron Triangle, etc. Golden State double folders are special bc, well, they're double folders.
