You must be spot on. I could not for the life of me get it seated and now I know why. I may open the hole up a bit and grind the lug a little and see if I can sneak it in there.

Use a chain saw to do it. It'll look custom that way

Never hurts to experiment. I took it out of the safe today and it's so smooth. That steel wool does a great job of polishing everything out.

I have never been that interested in the SKS because every one I see has that stupid tapco crap on it. I have to say this one looks very nice!!
