We should get the U.N. to issue a warning, and then a 'stronger' warning, and then sanctions and then 'stronger' sanctions, and then even stronger warnings and then really really double strong we're not kidding sanctions, and then the dreaded "you guys are really ticking us off warning"... and then when they try a nuclear test we need to ratchet DOWN the rhetoric because well, holy cow we didn't REALLY think they were doing what they said they were doing all these years and developing nukes. Then if they actually SAY to the world they are going to launch a preemptive nuclear strike on the U.S. we have to pull out the biggest diplomatic card we have, Dennis Rodman. In the unbelievable circumstance where all that fails, I guess we need to go back all the way to warning level 1 and ask them nicely not to nuke us?
iMO the same thing we should have been doing in a number of situations. Send in an elite team pop crazy leader between the eyes, go home wait for next crazy leader to pop up to I hate America, send elite team back in pop that one between the eyes. Next leader doesn't pop up so quick. Yes I know that we are under a convention saying that we will not assassinate foreign leaders, but just like all of the other rules we are the only one who abides by the rules. No need to send troops and problem eliminated. Next!
I'd love to say flatten them... but I think we're better off leaving them alone for the moment. Let's not forget about China having their back (most of the time).
