NOT A DEER

that hawk might have killed somebody's dog or cat. I used to live in Hartselle from 2005-2008 and there were several stories on the news of a hawk taking somebody's pet. Heck I had one in my backyard last week and I was afraid to let my poodle OR boxer out until I was sure it was long gone.

I know a guy who shot a hawk a couple years ago when it kept getting his chickens. I reminded him it was illegal and he reminded me he didn't care. LOL...He was tired tired of losing his chickens to a predator. I can't say I blame him, considering the circumstances.

As for this picture, I highly doubt if a farmer shot it with a bow because it was killing his chickens. It appears someone tried to kill it just to kill it, and if so, it's a dick move.

Huh? A hawk is NOT going to attack a boxer! :confused:Tea cup poodle, maybe. If your post is a joke then fail on me but on the off chance someone read that as serious....
We have countless hawks in our yard daily. They never even attacked our chickens. (Nor 3 of the previous boxers we had ;) ). Perhaps our 2 lazy beagles deterred them... when they weren't inside sleeping.
You may note the raptor in the video has a tether tied to it? It is used to being fed by humans and that little excuse for a dog looked all to similar to its training routine.

Raptor are amazing creatures. Whoever shot that with a bow is a piece of dung, full stop.
