Damn that's horrible... I'm not trying to be a smart ass but I am at the same time.
Life is short and I decided a long time ago that God has a plan for me and I'm not going to try to step in his way.
So I traveled 15 mph for 3+ blocks and made it home safe to see my kids and wife... Prayers sent to the ones who didn't make it!

Seriously, I saw three or five good wrecks already this month alone.
We get the Atlanta crowd out here often, take up both lanes of a two lane road, will be anywhere from 50 - 200 on most weekends,the roads are hilly, and winding, double yellow line. They do not call the Sheriff's Office for escorts. They tied me up for an hour as all they wanted to do was lolly gag, through the country side. Called the Sheriff's Office, and they were told to pack up and leave.Which the deputies made sure they did and escorted them to the county line.
Most are ok, however you get the "JOCK" type cyclists and they have an attitude of clip to eye itis, that's where your eye ball muscle gets tied up with your behind muscle, and they get a crappy out look on life very fast. They use the 3' clearance space to the fullest, if you start to pass they come over on you, honk the horn and they will just all spread out across both lanes...
Really bad when the tour De France,is going on TV, now we just call the Sheriff's department and offer my drive way as sitting point for the deputies, seems to have worked much better, now they go way out of the way not to come our way as much as they used to.
Have several neighbors who do the same so the deputies sit in different areas as to keep them guessing.
Now when we come upon them we just push the horn honking button on the key pad behind them and let it blare just 6' - 12' feet from them they now get irritated so we don't have to get irritated. They usually pull to side and ask us to pass as the horn begins to get on their nerves and we will just slow way down and let the horn play as it really gets on their nerves...
More than one way to get the irritation, "IRRITATED", without confrontation...
just a suggestion, turn their strength, into a weakness, and you have won the battle and everyone goes home...

2 abreast is the law. 3 not so much. They should know better. Safer to ride single file.
I absolutely hate that ****. Those Lance Armstrong wannabes do that **** ALL THE TIME around my house. I can't tell you how much that chaps my hide.
