This is my newest 1911 .45 Auto manufactured by Metro Arms in the Philippines. It is the American Classic II. They are a fairly new company right down the street from Rock Island Armory. They have been around for a while as a parts manufacturer under the name of Firestorm. The company was created by Hector Rodriguez, a competitive 1911 shooter back in the 1990's. They currently manufacture 1911 based pistols for sale in the US under the brand names of Firestorm and Metro Arms. They manufacture S.P.S. of Spain for sale in Europe. It is my personal opinion that they are the best value for money that you can buy today in a 1911.
