Seen 2 does slip by, I was hoping a buck was gonna be behind them. Heard some turkeys pitch down close by and about scared me, I hadn't heard any tree yelps or anything before they pitched.
Nothing so far
One doe down and just had 3 more cruise by. Maybe a buck will swing through as well.
Have seen no less than 100….
Mosquitoes.
8 turkeys, 1 coyote so far...
2 more does and small buck so far. Gonna sit til 1030 unless I see something else between now and then. Pretty sure club member shot earlier, sounded like back where he sitting. I'll know in a bit I guess.
I set up on a thick hardwood flat this morning with acorns dropping everywhere. Haven't seen the first deer. Anyone know what the fine is for shooting a squirrel with a 30-06?
Just had a target buck come by at 1015. Neve gave me a shot opportunity sadly. I had to watch him walk away into the thick stuff. Hopefully he comes back by, gonna stay another hour.
